Jeff Boris joins the Metrics team as West Coast business development specialist

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Metrics Inc., one of the nation’s fastest growing contract pharmaceutical
development laboratories, has expanded its presence on the West Coast through the addition of
business development services.

The company has appointed Jeff Boris to serve as its business development specialist, helping clients on the West Coast with new projects and contracts.

“Expanding Metrics’ services to the West Coast was a logical next step in our plans to continue
growth within the contract pharmaceutical development industry,” said Phil Hodges, president.
“We are excited to have Jeff join the Metrics team and help us to deliver our services to our West
Coast clients.”

Jeff brings more than 20 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry to the Metrics
team. He has worked with formulation and analytical development, preclinical services and clinical
studies of new pharmaceutical products for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Jeff earned his bachelor’s of science degree from Purdue University.

During the past year, Metrics has doubled its facility size to more than 90,000 square feet of
pharmaceutical development and manufacturing space. The company now has the ability to provide one-stop development from initial formulation through Phase I, II and III clinical materials and final commercial production. Metrics also added a dedicated potent and cytotoxic drug development facility that can accommodate Phase I through III projects.
